Community Tree Nursery Program

ASAL CARE supports communities to establish and manage local tree nurseries producing indigenous seedlings for reforestation, agroforestry, and land rehabilitation. Nursery operators — predominantly women — receive training in propagation, irrigation, and seedling care.

Seedlings are distributed for planting in degraded rangelands, school compounds, and community forests, contributing to long-term environmental recovery.
